Hello, I have a trouble ticket database with a UI that contains 4 sections. In section 2 I have created a combo box that gets it's values from a table I created called LS_Location. The user is to select a location from the combo box which then places the value in a new table called LS_Ticket in the Location field of the LS_Ticket table.

What I want to be able to do is update the rest of section 2 with the other contact information based upon the location selection from the combo box. How do I do this?

Before you go and start getting into the whole don't go duplicating data argument, tell me, step by step how to accomplish the goal. I'm using Access 2k if that helps.

thanks.

Perhaps I should add this information as well. The fields I want to update are in the LS_Ticket table. Just in case that clears things up.

Have a look at the Column property of the ComboBox object.
Another (slower) way is the DLookUp function.

Hope This Helps, PH.
