UPDATE all user's preferences in CE 8.5

Anyone got a quick way to update everyone's user preferences in CE 8.5?

I need to make a preference change to a couple of hundred users and don't want to have to user the one-at-a-time Preference Manager tool in the Launchpad.

Is there a script or a tool to do this?

I don't know of one, but I wonder if you've found this ability in your testing of CE10.

I ran into this when upgrading from CE8.0 to CE 8.5. The import utility doesn't bring the profiles. So here's what I did.
1. Ran a custom CSP against the old system database to show the profiles.
2. Saved this off to a database.
3. Ran another custom CSP against the new system database using an array from the first database to drive the updates.

It was a bit crude, but it worked. If you're still looking for a solution, I can send you csp code.

APOS has a freeware tool that does this on their site.

I have tested it in CE 8.5 and it works great if you want to "Change All". It doesn't allow you to select users/groups.
