Hi,
This one I have tried various methods to get to work. I understand that you cas not put a subform on a form when it is a continous form.
So how would I get data from the mainform to the subform that has a continous form?

Many thanks.

How about telling us the full picture of what you are trying to accomplish, so that we can be sure to help guide you in the right direction.

So far, I'm thinking you're wondering how to take some data from the main form, and either update an existing record or create a new record for the subform. What you most likely ought to do is to update the underlying record source (most likely a table) of the subform, and then the subform can be repainted or requeried, or recalced...

You can synch multiple continous subforms on a mainform. So you can have an unbound main form with a large continous subform (thus looking like a main form). Then underneath you can have another continous form. If you click on a record in subform one it will link to all the related records in the continous subform two.

Only if your using the form wizard!

Just be aware: with a continuous main form, you can't put a continuous subform in the detail area. [blue]It has to be the hearder or footer section of the mainform.[/blue] When you do so, access will apprise you of changing the mainform to single form. Pay it no mind and change it back to continuous!
