I've been using SQL Navigator for the past year and now find myself back using Toad again. In SQL Navigator you can just lick on the select as updatable button to change values in a record. How do you do the same thing in Toad? Seems like it should be easy but I can't find it.

Thanks,

Just double-click on the value.

Are you in a SQL window that selects from the table?

There is a Data Grid option that must be checked:
Default To Read-Only Queries
This option controls the ability to fetch updateable result sets in the Schema Browser and Master/Detail Browser windows.

If unchecked, then you automatically get editable grids in the Schema Browser and Master/Detail Browser.

If checked, then grids are not editable in the Schema Browser and Master/Detail Browser.

Let me clarify: If it is checked, you will not be able to edit your data.

I added rowid as part of the query. This did the trick. See documenation reference too. Thanks.
