I am about to create a site for a client who wants to be able to update it themselves, i.e. update their photos, news, diaries of riders, etc. What would be my best approach here seeing as the client has little or no knowlegde of dreamweaver or websites in general? I want to create a interface where he clicks a few buttons and bam its done , photos turn up on site at correct size, text drops into place with right formatting, etc(is that a little optimistic)
Thanks

the photo bit will need some components installed on the server, but basically what you need is a CMS (Content Management System) There are quite a few about.

has a list of Open Source ones. A bit out of date now but it's a start.

Chris.

Indifference will be the downfall of mankind, but who cares?

Or look into contribute from Macromedia

A friend mentioned somethng the other day about "PSB" for updating websites.
