Unwanted vertical line on Gantt chart?

Just want to say thanks - this forum has been a life saver!

For some reason, I have an unwanted vertical line on my Gantt chart that I can't seem to get rid of (see the attachment). This line is in addition to the intended breaks for years, and runs the full height of the sheet. It is not connected to any task and I cannot select it.

Thoughts?

Sorry, the line in question shows up in early February.

That's today's date.

View > Gantt
Format > Gridlines

In the box "Lines to change" look for "Current Date"
On the right change "Type" to a blank (the topmost entry)
Click on OK

Note that the gridlines are individually defined for each view so clearing it on the Gantt display does not clear it on the Tracking Gantt display.
