I have created a multipaged document with several Master Pages. When I look at it on the screen or make a pdf it looks fine. When I print the InDesign Document there are graphics that are showing up at the bottom of various pages that do not belong there.

I have checked and re-checked the master pages as well as the Illustrator ai and eps files where some of the graphic elements that were inserted in the master pages came from. Everything seems fine. The unwanted items that are printed are a logo without the page numbering. These show up on all the pages where I used master page designs that did not include this logo or page numbering. (I did however set up master pages with this logo and page numbering...and those are fine)

Anyone know what I've done wrong? I'm confused and frustrated...

How do you make your PDF?
I've had that happen on one job I did.
Every time I made a Postscript file and distilled to PDF I would get that.

I worked around the problem by, exporting straight to PDF.

Also Check that you don't have any overlapping items on the Master Spreads, which are going over to the facing page

Thanks for your reply!

It's not the PDF that's bothering me it's the Printing of the InDesign File. It's only when I print that these graphics show up. As for overlapping objects in the master pages...I checked and even re-created my master pages. There are no overlapping objects or hidden images.

I'm at a loss as to what is causing this :(
