Unwanted Multiple Page Breaks

I have a report that lists various types of information which come from separate tables/queries. I implemented this as a master report with a set of subreports. Everything works fine except that when a page is full, two page breaks get inserted (i.e. a blank page). I'm assuming that the subreport and the main report are both generating breaks. N.B. There are no specified page breaks, I want the information to fill up each page.

Does my supposition make sense?
How can I stop the double breaks?
Are subreports the best solution anyway in such circumstances?

Thanks

Can you link the tables and queries together in another query rather than using a subreport? Even if you have to create a dummy ID key in each table to link them, it might be worth it.
Also, check your groups for the Keep Together property.

Laurie - Thanks - there are multiple records in each query so it would be messy (it's a youth sports club system where the report on an individual covers which squads they've been in, a number of coaching reports, injury histories etc).

The subreport solution seems good except for these pesky page breaks.
