Every time windows 98se starts, an explorer window also opens. I don't even use explorer as a file manager. B-( How do I get rid of it? I used to know the answer to this, but can't recall it now. I'm sure it's something simple.
check in the ini files for a line that reads "run="
You get there by typing sysedit under run in the start menu.
if explorer is after the run= command then just edit it out.
