Hi all I could really use your help in finding out the problem here.

When using the unified messaging client application through outlook, some users are getting the following error:

Sent: Thursday, December 01, 2005 3:51 PM
To: 'Reiss, Rachel'
Subject: Undeliverable: 3:07 Call from (7023486934)

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: FWD: 3:07 Call from (5555555555)
Sent: 12/1/2005 3:51 PM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Doe, John' on 12/1/2005 3:51 PM
Unsupported attachment(s). The CallPilot transport only supports TIF, WAV, VBK and TXT attachments.

Environment:

BCM 400 3.7 with all the last patches as of November 30th, 2005.
CallPilot Unified Messaging Client - 2.01.27.15
Microsoft Outlook - Exchange 2003 environment

 
Last I talked with Nortel ETAS they told me that BCM CP Unified Messaging Client was not compatible with Outlook 2003, and that there was no updates available as of yet to fix the issue
 
It does work with Outlook 2003 no problem, also I figured out the problem. Our Exchange server was doing some virus filtering on the .vbk files, we whitelisted that file type and it works now!
