Unsuccessful saveset "Operation would block"

Any ideas as to what this error message means? I'm running Networker on a Win2K backup server, trying to back up a Unix client. The backup failed last night and reported the following error:

Unsuccessful savesets
<client>:All 5 retries attempted
<client>:All Operation would block

This maybe caused by a number of issues. some of them are:
- defective hardware (network card)
- old (incompatible) drivers
- OS patches missing

Try to run the backup from the client with added verbosity and see whether you receive more info (save -vvv path). If problems, solve them first before you initiate an automatic backup.

Hi, there

When I have seen this error message it's been related
to DNS reverse lookups not working (i.e. the IP address for
the client is not found if you do an nslookup on it).
