I have a Rockwell HCF V.90 modem, Im trying to reinstall it, but it does not recognize the driver as being valid. Windows wants to install it as a PCI Serial Controller, and from there i try to tell it that its an HCF modem, but it doesnt like that either. Any help?

The HCF modems have a two part install. The first is the PCI serial device controller, sometimes called an enumerator, the second is the actual modem install.
When asked for the driver, just install from the disk that came with the modem, and if it doesn't have the PCI serial driver included, get driver 2.1.2.135b from my modems page, it includes the serial PCI device driver, as well as a really stable (and fast) HCF driver. Cheers,
Jim
