HI,
After problems with User Profiles I had to copy a whole bunch of folders from one profile to another. Problem is that since doing that, Internet Explorer is acting quirky. For instance the Google home page responds to some mouse clicks but not those on the Google Search buttons. Also I can't use IE to log into Hotmail. On the log-in page I enter my details and click to submit and then get stuck on this page

It says done in the bottom left of the screen but nothing actually loads. Likewise I can't launch hotmail from Msn Messenger. I'm pretty sure all this is due to some file or other being lost when I had the user profile problem, but how to fix it is beyond me. Any help much appreciated.

Bump. No-one got any suggestions for a solution to this one. It's driving me crazy coz some websites won't work properly without IE.

Moving folders between profiles is dicey. I would try re-installing IE, or creating a new profile from scratch. Re-installing IE is probably the one to try first.
