Is there a easy way to check to see what servers backup agents are registered or not? I'm using Arcserve 2000 and Brightstor v.9 and new to both. Any help greatly appreciated.

John

Go to the server's c: drive and open the directory CA_LIC. Find the file REGIT.LOG. Open it and it should provide you with that info.

Thanks MCCP! Will this need to be done on each server running the agent or just the server running backup software? Hope question makes sense.

It will not be needed for servers running the client agent. I believe you get five client agents with each purchase of Arcserve. You're okay with the agents as long as you don't install more than five. Otherwise you will only need to look at the servers running Arcserve.

Just for knowledge. You can also check the machines running the agent in the same location.
