Hi,

I have 3 computers on the router 2 wired and 1 wireless.

I am changing them all to wired but i cant get the 3rd computer to work at all
I have tryed the onboard lan and a seperate NIC but it always says the cable is unplugged
I have tryed diferent ports on the router and it didnt work also editing IP's and it didnt work
only via a direct connection to the modem it works.

Hardware

MSI KT4V-L "motherboard"
Linksys BEFW11S4 - Wireless Access Point Router with 4-Port Switch - Version 2

Are you sure you are not trying to use a cross-over cable instead of a regular patch cable?

Try a different cable.

Thanks for the reply, yes it ended up being the cable "cross-over" but i have rewired it now so its working fine.
