Hi,
Can someone tell me how to remove the lock on a tty port?
I'm troubleshooting some OTM issues and suspect I keep locking all the PTY ports and want to ensure they aren't locked.
Thanks,
Fred

ld 37
stat tty or maybe just stat

find the one disabled

ld 37
enl tty x (x being the number of the disable port)

Thanks, but it's the login that's locked, not the port.
"set lock 0" or something like that from what I remember,
but I need the load.

Clarification - it is the Login ID that locks out.
Can anyone help with an unlock command?

If you have locked yourself out with trying too many times with the wrong password then you will have to wait for a period to be able to log in again. The timeout period is usually 30 minutes. Hope this helps?

The timeout idea works fine, but I suspect what's happening is OTM is continually trying to login with the wrong password. Hence I would like to remove the lock manually. Done it before, just can't find it now.

If you want to confirm the login is correct in OTM I think it is located under "System Properties", then select the "Customers" tab, select customer 0, from memory you then get the option to change the PABX passwords. You have to make sure all other OTM windows are closed down though. Hope this helps?

from load 22 >prt >pwd you can see a lock associated with a login ID. That is what I'm hoping to clear.

Sorry - I was heading in the wrong direction. To change this you need the Level 2 password. LOCK prompt is between 0 and 270 but you should be careful as to what you set for security purposes and for stopping unwanted people out of your PABX.
