Unknown trap from Nortel BayStack 450

Hello Bay-Networks specialists.

I hopy You can help me with the following misinterpreted Nortel-trap-problem on our Netview V6.0
Nortel BayStack 450 systems with SW-Version 4.4 send our the following trap randomly:

SNMP: ----- Simple Network Management Protocol (Version 1) -----
SNMP:
SNMP: Version = 0
SNMP: Community = public
SNMP: Command = Trap
SNMP: Enterprise = {1.3.6.1.4.1.45.5.2.2} <--unknown
SNMP: Network address = [yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy]
SNMP: Generic trap = 6 (Enterprise specific) <--unknown
SNMP: Specific trap = 3 <--unknown
SNMP: Time ticks = 135334224
SNMP:
SNMP: Object = {1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.1.7} (ifIndex.7) <-- probably the ifIndex; in this case: port #7
SNMP: Value = 7
SNMP:

Due to the fact that the Enterprise-ID 1.3.6.1.4.1.45.5.2.2 is not contained in our system, Netview
chooses apparently the nearest Enterprise-ID 1.3.6.1.4.1.45
The trap is then displayed with wrong information like &quot;Ethernet board Power supply failure&quot;

Does somebody know what is really behind this trap ?

Hi Rick,

as far as can rememeber we have installed some of them, but
some failed to load. But the systems we receive this new trap from are only BS450/BS350 not BS470!

I am getting this trap too from one of our baystacks.
Have you found out what´s the problem?
