A former colleague of mine configured a BCM 50 while he worked with us, now that he is gone the customer needs to have some changes done to the configuration and the password he left in the customers document is not what exit on the BCM. I tried a few common password i know he would normally use but got no luck. Is the any other way i can get access and probably change the password. ideas?

no !

Unfortunatley not.
You could do a level 1 reset( depending on software version) as long as you have the lic file and reprogramme system,

Copied from Snowman.

If your distributor has avaya/nortel support they may be able to provide a temporary password to access the system to allow access and reset the password. your customer may be asked to comfirm who they and you are before this can be done.
