Unix to windows printing via samba?.

Hi,

Is it possible to print to a windows based network printer from unix "HP-UX" via samba?. If so, can anyone offer a few pointers or suggest an alternative?.

Hi - no not really - I could not get a defenative answer and not being a unix pro, I was wary about installing any third party apps... Instead I'm now extracting the basic print information out of the lp log file.

Sorry I can't help - if you do find a way, I'd be grateful if you could let me know...

have you looked into the 'smbspool' command ... i believe that will do what you want.
