HI, could someone help me determent what might be the problem with my Digital Unix tru64.Couple of days ago it started to re-boot on its own.I'm running low on memory on /usr2 could that be a problem? It usually hapens once or twice a week.

Thanks.

P.S. I checked the FILE: /var/adm/messages
DIRECTORY: /var/adm/syslog.dated/ it doesn't help.

what about /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log?

This is indication of power supply dropping. Are you on a UPS? If so have you checked lately to see if the batteries will hold the system up?
Low space shouldn't cause this. Ed Fair

try looking in /var/adm.crash for crash-data.N file

plain ascii -- if you rebooted due to a abort in the kernel it should be here

if not

find / -name 'crash-data*' will tell you if you have one

look for panic_string in the file
