Is there any unix command (lp) wherein we can choose a specific paper size or tray# when printing a report in a laser printer? Our printer is an HP 8150DN.

Any help or tips is highly appreciated...

It will depend of the printer defination file in use for that printer but you can try thei:

# lp -d (print_queue) -otray1 (filename)

The tray1 could be tray2 or tray 3. Also, there are -oupper and -olower options as well.

thanks crowe, i just specify the paper size definition as:

$ lp -d<printer> -olegal (filename)

By the way, I have another query. How can we print a 2 sided (duplex) printing?

Your help is highly appreciated.
