unix agent BE 8.6

We are going to upgrade BE 8.5 to BE 8.6 and all its components. Do we also need to upgrade Unix Agent.

I appreciate your help.

the upgrade to 8.6 is a chargable upgrade, so old licences will not work. So the short answer is yes, all licences will have to be upgraded. :-(

The only upgrade that you have to purchase is the core product. All agents and options will be able to use the same serial number as the 8.5 version. The Unix agent is free for 8.5 and 8.6 also. Pretty painless...

You only have to upgrade the backup piece, the other agents on 8.5 will work with 8.6 and the UNIX agent is included..
