hi all, a bit off the forum standard but related. This has now come up a few times where a user checks voicemail through the phone (7940) and it says it's full. All vmail is forwarded to their email account for viewmail and even when deleted the full box message still occurs. The only time i've seen this is when the user is over their allotted email space limit and cannot send/receive. Any other routes to check or a method to flush the vm box without removing and creating the vmail box?

Thanks very much

What drive are storing the messages... They should be on the D drive.....

They are indeed stored on the D drive. The two folders I see with messsages are StreamFiles and UnityMTA but neither contain messages for this particular user. Should I be looking elsewhere or is there a method that you know of to 'flush' his vm account?

Thanks very much

I'm not sure!! I have only seen these type of issues when the unity drive it self was full.....

yeah, very strage, i'll get this beast figure out. Thanks for your help!

Is this unified then or voice mail only? If it is unified you are exceeding the exchange mailbox limits therefore the warning message. You have to increase the size of the users exchange acct in exchange.

If it is voice mail only check the size of the default subscriber mailbox in unity.

The only time I have seen this is unified and since you mentioned view mail I would think that is the flavor you got.

This is voice mail only, first thing I checked was the mailboz size and he was at 60% so all was good. I talked with him today and ended up deleting and recreating his vm account. Once he re-enrolled all was well. One of those freak things I guess

Check the size of your log database. I found mine was growing by the GBs. Cisco showed me how to cap its size and then they opened a ticket to have the bug fixed.

THanks for the heads up, our logs are actually quite small but I appreciate the tip.
