I uninstalled VMware and both my USB wireless keyboard and nay other keyboard I connect do not work. It works before the XP splash screen and it works in Linux. I found a site that said run regedit and delete upperfilters. That almost worked, I no longer get an error in the device manager but the keyboard still does not work.
I can see the battery status and the wireless status, the upper keys work, MyDocument, open document, close document.
The device magager says that the device is working properly, however when I click troubleshoot, nothing happens.
I unistalled and reinstall the drivers. I have run out of ideas.
Thank you

Which drivers did you exactly reinstall? Drivers that came with your keyboard? About every keyboard is OK with the generic driver. Try a USB stick to see if other USB peripherals still work. If not, reinstall your USB drivers.

Have you tried a USB to PS/2 adapter (if your motherboard supports ps/2)?

I tried a USD yo PS/2 Adapter it did not work. What I did to solve the problem was to restore it back to a date before I tried to Uninstall WMware. Thanks for the help.
