Hi All

I am working on a report which I have not developed and came across a formula as follows:
{#Number of visits}
that is only 'thing' placed in the formula which one would normally think is a field. I have had a look all over this report and even tried creating a new report from the same db and this field is not present.

Has anyone come across this field~?

I look forward to your repsonse

Many Thanks

This field is a Running Total field. It is basically a calculation field used in the report. Try opening up your report and then opening the field explorer and then going to Running Totals.

You should find that that field is in there.

{#rtname} indicates it is an inserted running total. Go to the field explorer->running total and you should see it listed.

Thanks guyz.....next stage this was in the subreport, I need to bring this running total into the main report....any ideas?

The main report and subreport is linked by 2 parameters (start and end date)

Much appreciated

I answered your other post on this topic. You need to use a shared variable.
