Unique ring tone per extension

Does anyone know how to have just a certain extension (an 18d phone) ring with a unique noise when the automated attendent transfers a call?

I know that the ringing noises can be changed for a per line basis, but that would affect serveral extensions, and I just want to affect one extension.

If there is no solution within the system itself, I wonder if I could an extra device just for ringing a different tone that would be an auxiliary device at that extension, or add that ringing-only-device to an extension in the existing calling group?

My hardware is Partner ACS version 7, with partner messaging version 7.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Listen closely to the ringing. It does sound different.


ring = outside call
ring beep = intercom call
ring beep beep = transfered call (like call coming from AA)

Yeah, but in a bull pen, it's hard to tell whose extension is going "ring-beep-beep".

An external ringer in the Aux port will do the trick.
