Hi. After uninstalling NAV 2003 from WinXP SP2, the right click menu is broken. Symptoms: right clicking any desktop icon hangs the gui indefinitely showing 'hourglass' cursor. Have to reboot. Reinstalling NAV removes the problem.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mort

there are two removal tools to use (this is for NIS but you can adapt accordingly)

Uninstall Norton from the control panel
restart the PC
download and run RNAV2003.exe from the symantec website ( i think that is maybe the link posted above here)
reboot the pc

If you have NIS as opposed to NIS perform the following additional steps
run RNIS.exe
reboot PC

That should hopefully stop things occuring

Hi. Thanks for the response. I've tried the RNAV2003.exe tool, but it doesn't solve the problem. The right click menu remains screwed up unless I reinstall NAV2003 or Norton System Works 2003.
