uninstall ie6

recently i wondering why my ie6 not working properly...and i plan to reinstall...but how to remove ie6 from my pc? coz i need a clean install.

Under normal circumstances, it's impossible to uninstall IE6. Just recently however, a program called xplite came on the market which will take it off your system for you. Rather than going through the hassle of finding a pirated copy, or the cost of actually buying it, could I suggest you go to

and just download a different web browser?

yeah..u r right..actually i accidently install some freeware. then after i uninstall it..my ie6 not working. showing that 'can't displayed the page'. so planned to reinstall but cant get the way how to remove it. then i installed netscape..don't like it...so maybe will try others browser. thank you.

You cannot remove IE6 on Win2000. Reinstallation fixes all problems.
If you want clean install (why?) you must reinstall Windows

yes...tried lots of way my ie still cant work...
and now..can anyone guide me how to reinstall w2k server without format??
i little bit scary to reinstall now coz last time when i reinstalled, it's formatted my hadr drive. maybe because not in proper way. so need help. thank

If you go to add/remove programs in control panel, then select IE6. Then click on add/remove button. It will come up with a menu ... select repair internet explorer.

i went to add/remove program then click on i6 followed by add/remove button. but seems that only thw windows component wizard is came out. and i dont find the repair option/button. can you please specify where is it located?
will try the avant browser..
