Uninstall excahgne 2000 1

Hi everyone,
I am trying to uninstall the exchange 2000, and i run into the error ( Setup encountered error while checking prequisites for the components. MS exchange 2000 0xc007054b (1355): the specified domain either does not exit or could not be contact). So I do the "NSLOOKUP" the result returns with (can't find server name for address 192.168.x.x : None existant domain. default server: unknown and address:192.168.x.x
I have a small network. One server is DC and second server is member server that i am trying to host the exchange 2000
server. this must be the DNS but i could not find anything wrong. I can ping the workstations and server using BIOS name. I am pretty sure this will bring the bell to some one. Please help me on this one. Thank you in advance.

You tried to do an nslookup using an internal address try doing the nslookup using the external address and see if you get a reply.

Thanks 1Ankton1, I have resolved this. I ended up reinstalled the server.
