I am trying to Remove CR Server Lite ( 5 user version with CRXI Developer pack ), but it fails.
It is complaining that it cannot open the registry key:-
HKLM\mictosoft\.NetFramework\AssemblyFolderEx\Business Objects......

This folder does exist as specified, though I do notice the error dialogue is looking for \.NetFramework\\Assembl.... a stange double slash is there.
Any one else come across this??

CRXI with WinXP SP2

Try this link:

A potential solution is about third in the list.

If that doesn't work, come back.

I personally would just remove the extra slash. But I work in my registry all the time. Usually I would just put the reg key back if it didn't end up working, so in this case I'd put the slash back if removing it didn't get me there.

You can always export it if you are worried.

It looks as though that will simple remove the option from the add remove programs. It won't actually uninstall CR Server.
I can manually delete the files, but that would leave all the services and registry entries intact, not to mention registered DLL's etc.
I can't find an uninstall script where I can tweak what appears to be incorrect formatting of the Reg key. None of my Dev team have much experience with MSI packages. Any idea where it gets the info to build the routine?

I don't, sorry to say.

I guess you might be down to contacting BO directly or uninstalling by hand.
