Is there a way to have unified messaging deliver voicemails to an email server such as POP or Exchange.

The reason I'm asking is because I have to be able to deliver voicemails as email attachements on an Apple network. As I understand it the Unified Messaging client is not Apple compatible.

Is it correct to say that the message is forwarded by the call pilot directly to the unified messaging client.

I could realy use some help on this... Thanks to all.

No, there is a local client on the Windoze machine that gets the messages from Call Pilot. It can co-reside with Outlook on a PC that talks to an Exchange server. I don't know how to work it on a MAC. If someone else knows more, go for it. I'm willing to learn too.

Good luck!

Hello everybody!

I have a problem with a Call Pilot e-mail server and a work-around:

I am able to connect to Call Pilot as an Outlook/OE client but unable to run any software supplied with the Call Pilot unified messaging, i.e., I cannot access or change any IMAP/MAPI server settings.

I have installed Desktop Messaging v2.50, but when I try to run any of the managers (from the Software installed: Mailbox or Operator Manager), I have an 'network' error (1722).

The work-around is making th Outlook download and process the IMAP messages using the VBA script.

My question is: how can I make Mailbox or Operator Manager work? Is there any way to use a browser for that?
So far, I am able to use http interface for general Call Pilot administration (not for the e-mail).

Thank you for any ideas.
