Uniden FP 106 NZ - Message Wait Lamp

Hi All

I'm in New Zealand and have Uniden FP106's

deployed in customer sites.

The problem I have is that we can't get the Message Wait Lamp to work. Does anyone know what the extension Caller Display and Message Waiting Lamp Indication Type settings should be?

Any help appreciated.

have you checked in, Manager App, under configuration tree/ extension, choose the analogue extension its in, turn caller id on, flash hook timers to 30 and 80ms, for new zealand, and turn message lamp on, press o.k, save config, merge, reboot etc, and should be all go

3.1.56 on V2 406, msg wait = on, CID = on. Watch out for older versions of the uniden - they don't transfer unless you get them modified. Shouldn't be any that old around any more.

After a bit of searching and conversations with Uniden NZ I can confirm that the Uniden FP106 DOES NOT support Message Wait lamp functionality.

This is due to the FP106 Message Waiting Lamp is triggered by a broken dial tone on the line.

This maybe different in other countries.
