Hi Guys,

One of our clients in their brilliance decided to outsource their wireless phone installation to another company and they installed Unidata Incom ICW-1000. We are having compatibility issues (so i thought) but according to the release notes for the Unidata phone it is compatible with Avaya.

Can anyone confirm this?

I don't know what to tell the client as they are saying we must sort it out. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

They're just generic SIP devices I'd say, so put in a cheap wired SIP phone or SIP client on iPhone etc log that in as an extn that has issues and when that handset/device has no issues you can point the finger at the crappy DECT they bought :)

Searching the Avaya Compliance Testing only shows an old test of UniData WPU-7700 against Communication Manager with SES.

If UniData is complaining compatiblity, then have your client go back to THEM to provide a report on how it needs to be configured for IP Office.
