Can anyone tell me if Visual Foxpro is Unicode compliant ( and if so, what version of Unicode and VFP.

Thanks.

I don't know any particulars, but check the help on the STRCONV() function to see how VFP supports unicode.

Richard,

The short answer is No.

VFP can store Unicode characters in a table, but it has no native way of rendering them on a form or report. You need to use a third-party control to display the text, and a third-party reporting tool to report it.

The STRCONV() function that Wgcs mentioned is good for manipulatng the separate bytes in a Unicode or DBCS character string, but does not solve the problem of displaying the characters.
