unicenter suite of products on Windows 2003 server

Hi,

I would be starting an implementation of unicenter suite of products on Windows 2003 server.

Has any of you faced any problems during or after the installation of unicenter suite of products on Windows 2003 server particularly so because I was told that Windows 2003 server is not a very stable environment for large installations.

I've been using W2k3 since release on my entire NSM and USD infrastructure globally - it is by far more stable than Win2K.

Thanks for the info. Did you face any issues during Unicenter NSM installation which you felt could have been taken care of had you been aware of the problem?

Issues specific to Win2K3? No.

Issues specific to ServiceDesk or NSM? Sure, plenty - mainly because we were new to the products, and hadn't been to training yet...

by far I installed Unicenter NSM 3.1 in a Windows W2K3 server and I got no problems in the installation process making some investigation about how the app run and I don't see any problems... in a conversation with a CA technical support guy he doesn't recommends to me getting any unicenter software into this OS because they get sometimes incompatibilities and problems with their software beucase the newest of the OS...

there are actually several patches required to gen 0403 of unicenter NSM before CA will support it on w2k3 sp1. This info is on support connect.
