unhandled exception c0000005 at address 100016b8 1

hi folks,
i am having problems with my XP.. everytime someone tries to login as guest on the computer it gives an error saying that uhandled exception error c0000005 at address 100016b8
and when i press okay it gives me an error about some other software calles "promulgate software" i have no idea what this is and i never tried to install anything like this on the computer. may be someone who used my computer for a little while.. i tried removing this promulgate software from the addd remove programs thing but couldn't find it there.........someone please help..

Can be disabled in MSCONFIG - goes
by the name pgmon there. In another thread it was supposed that it was from
"delfin's media viewer."

Also bothered with "exception error c0000005 at address 100016b8" and "promulgate error messages".

Found that the delfin's media viewer had been installed - no idea how or why it got there - but un-installing the delfin also has stopped the errors.
