Hello,
I'm struggling with a database. Before I even start to explain the problem, I want to say that I know I'm way over my head but my boss is insisting, so although any help would be appreciated, I might not understand it! All I've had is a one-day, intermediate level training course and the rest I've been figuring out as I go along.
I have a query that's looking at 4 other queries. Whenever I open it, I get a box asking for a Parameter Value for "Query1.BusinessUnit". This confuses me, as I don't have a query called Query1 anywhere, and the BusinessUnit field in this query doesn't have any criteria at all, let alone a parameter prompt. If I press cancel I get no data returned, if I leave it blank and press ok the data appears to be fine.
Now, I don't even know if this is something I actually need to fix - it doesn't seem to be causing any problems elsewhere. I'd like to make it stop as I think it probably shouldn't be happening, but maybe my time would be better spent tearing my hair out over some other part of the project! Any help or advice would be lovely.
Thanks,
Tanya
