Hi there,
Probably a pretty simple one.
I would like the links on my page, only to be underlined when being used or hovered over. I have sussed using the CSS Styles window, how to get rid of the initial 'underlining' when creating anchors, but when hovering over them, they do not appear underlined.
I tried using an onmouseover command, and editing the code, but failed miserably!
Anyone know a quick (or long) way of doing this.

I think that may be a browser option.... I am not sure though

in css go to add a new style sheet and go to css selector...click on a:hover and pich how you want the links to look with mouse over...there your done....you can also do the same and chosse a:active and see how your active links will look

The hover behaviour is not supported in Netscape browsers (surprise surprise...). The only way you can get a hover effect in NN is to use the onMouseover behaviour attached to a layer or image.

If you have set the undelining off in the CSS and then proceeded to apply a "a:hover" style from the CSS selector list (as deecee has so kindly explained) then you have taken it as far as it can go without turning all of your links to images!

People who use Netscape are used to not seeing the hover on standard links, so they can live with it. Derren
