Undelete program

I have recently formatted my harddrive from fat32 to ntfs due to problems with XP. My computer had several problems that disappeared after my clean installation together with the folder "my documents" that I forgot to backup.

Does anyone know which recovery program is the best to use?

You may well be out of luck on that - its very likely the area on the disk has already been overwritten.

Try a Google search (eg on 'data recovery') to find apps. This one

I've seen recommended (but haven't personally used). There are some free ones, but suspect they will not be up to recovering from your situation.

PS. As you probably know, the less you use the machine the better chance of some recovery.

Some recover programs here for you to try out, I believe they have a free read only download so you can see what maybe recoverable before actually purchasing the full program.
