This is probably a simple issue, but it has been perplexing me for some time.
I have an unbound control on a form that when updated I would like it to automatically enter the data to a subform on the same form which is linked to a table. I figued out how to get it to requery the form when updated.
Any help would be greatly appreciate!!

TIA,
Nathan

Why not enter the data directly into the field of the subform? What are you trying to do? Anyway, how do you propose to tell the unbound control WHICH record in the subform to change?

Jerry,
I spoke with you before about this database. The unbound control is a surgery the patient is going to have. The subform is surgeries the patient has already had. The people that are going to be using the database are not very computer literate. I want to make it as simple as possible for them to enter the data in this form. The subform just needs a record added to it. It doesnt need changed. does that help clear up my situation?
I appreciate the help you provide! You are very skilled.
