Using Windows 2000, Exchange 2000, Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise 8.5 - its been fine.
2 weeks ago I turned on filters that quarentine attachments with certain extensions, and add subject line tag on incoming mail with possible spam or viruses. I also directed the anti-spam setting to block known spammers from spamhaus.org.
It seemed to be working beautifully.
But, incoming or outgoing mail with blank subject lines are being blocked. no warning, no message to sender, no administrator message. I turned off all the filters I turned on - but blank subject line messages are still being blocked.
I agree that it is good business practice to always include a subject line - but I feel I should know how to turn this 'feature' off if needed.
Any help would be appreciated.
