unattend install of an OS within VMWARE

I have been attempting to perform an unattended install within VMWare workstation version 5.5.2. to perform an upgrade on 2kpro to XP pro.

It works at a certain point the 2k session reboots the text mode phase of the install.

I then receive a stop error 0x0000007B inacessible boot device, i check the virtual BIOS the boot sequence is A,C,D

does anyone know how to solve this issue?

There is quite a bit of info on that stop error on the MS Website, one to note includes Slipstreaming the latest SP onto the install "CD" which may help...
