Unable to turn off Aux ringer

I have a customer who states the night ring in the plant will not shut off during the day. They state they turn it off through the operator controls F982. Not being sure how they actually turned it on and off previously I searched for a night bell ext. I found the main line and the aux ringer checked . Problem is when I try and uncheck aux ringer leave the heading and come back it stays checked.

I seem to remember having to reset something to get night ringing unlocked but I can't remember what fixed it. Anyone?

Most of the time Night Ringing is invoked using Service Modes which is Feature 871 or 87 on the older software's.
F982 is used to close the business so that the non business greeting is playing.

the problem is the target line 700 the aux ringer box is checked and will not go off when unchecked go back to target lines the box is checked again the system was rebooted powered off and then back on but this line still stays the same

Resolved issue by setting another target line 706 and assigning it to made set to work around the issue with 700 it still is stuck with aux ringer box checked
