We are running a Windows 2000 server sp4 with a separate networked attached storage device on the same domain. When I logon to the server as administrator and try to delete a folder on the network attached storage, it tells me that a file is in use and it can not delete the folder/files. I've tried taking ownership and it says that I can't do that...denied. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

What NAS are you using? NAS has its own settings which you need to configure for Folder permissions.

Well, I don't own a HP NAS, but most NAS should be accessible in a Web Browser to configure settings in the NAS. Type the IP address of the NAS or its NetBios name in the Browser, and provided you know the Administrator password of the NAS, you should be able to access the configuration page. Browse around for the configuration page to check folder permissions.
