Hi I M New with Mitel. I tried to set up SIP Trunk with my Service Provider but I am getting OUT OF Service when i tried to call outside.

Also when i used command SIP LINK STATE ALL I got this error.
There are 1 SIP link(s) programmed.
Link MYNETFONE state is IN SERVICE (link down count 0) - REGISTER Failed

Any Guess..

Thanks in Advance

Its not registering with the SIP provider. Either you have missedout/incorrectly programmed or a firewall is probably getting in the way. NAT can also bugger it up unless there is a STUN server you can use. Routers with SIP awareness can also cause real problems.......etc.

Maybe if you said the name of the SIP provider and gave more details in how it is set up people could help you out.

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

Have you been using help docs for Sip setup / provider

Hi All,

I really appreciate if someone have a look on my SIP configuration. I am struggling to connect my sip trunks with my SIP Provider. Any Guess if i am missing something or if i have done anything wrong..

Thanks in Advance..

Well, you have no registration user name for a start and you will probably need it. Also a password. Did you SIP providor give you details to enter?
