I only seem to have this problem with freeserve accounts.

address like.

anyemail@domain.fsnet.co.uk
anyemail@domain.freeserve.co.uk

etc.

I have no idea why it's only with freeserve as all other domains go through fine and I have to contact freeserve accounts using web-based email like hotmail at the moment.

I'm using Exchange 5.5 SP4

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Jonny

have you done an NSLOOKUP on your DNS server.

Also in outlook, how do you connect to your exchange server? Do you connect via pop or via exchange?

NSLOOKUP comes up with 3 results linked to 3 different ISP servers:

NSlookup - Result
companyname.com name server svr0.isp.com
companyname.com name server svr1.isp.com
companyname.com name server svr2.isp.com

In outlook, Exchange Server is connected via exchange.

Well what errors do you get when you try to send it to these addresses?

Errors are like this:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'anyname@domain.fsnet.co.uk' on 30/05/2003 13:31
The recipient was unavailable to take delivery of the message
The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p=XYZ;l=XYZServe-030528123018Z-4523
MSEXCH:IMS:XYZ:XYZ:XYZServer 3499 (000B09AA) Host unreachable

It always seems to be Host Unreachable errors.
