For some reason a couple of weeks ago, we were suddenly unable to send emails to any recipients @btinternet.com or @yahoo.com.
Whenever we try to, we get a message saying the message is delayed then finally we get an undeliverable message with the following text:
xxxx@btinternet.com on 20/01/2005 23:05
Could not deliver the message in the time limit specified. Please retry or contact your administrator.
<mail.hhc.co.uk #4.4.7>
Would it be something to do with the recipients server performing a reverse dns lookup and its failing or am I way off the mark ?!!
We are using Exchange Server 2003
We are able to email everywhere else and I dont think that its coincidence that both these domains are owned by British Telecom!
Any advise suggestions, would be greatly appreciated !
