unable to select the 'Build Executable' option

Gentlemen,
I'm using Foxpro2.6 for Windows. Under Build Option, the 'Build Executable ' selection was gray out. I used foxpro2.6 for years. that's the 1st time this problem occurs. Does anyone know the reasons and solutions? your help will be appreciated. Have a nice day.

Is it a new installation or the same foxpro2.6 you have been
using all the while?

If the installation did not include the Distribution Kit
then the Build Executable option won't be there.

Thanks for your help, Mr. Benson. It's a COMPLETE re-installation on WinXp with same 7 floppy disks. How could I include the Distribution Kit? Thanks, gentlemen.

I am not quite sure why the same disks you used
are now not availing the Build Executable option.
I would not know if it's to do with WinXp.

But maybe follow this link and see whether it may be of any help.

I doubt that your seven disks contain the installation for the Distribution Kit (DK), which benasumwa mentioned is necessary to enable the Build Executable option. The Distribution Kit is/was installed separately on top of the regular FoxPro install. (So, you could do what you think is a COMPLETE install and still not get the DK.)

A quick Google search for "FoxPro 2.6 distribution kit" yielded this site, among others:

You might be able to purchase the DK disks if you cannot locate yours. Good luck!
