Hi.

I have a strange problem that I have only just noticed.

When I go to my network places - entire network - microsoft windows network - domain, I can see every machine on the network apart from the main server. All the pcs are listed as are a couple of the other servers.

We are running w2k servers and workstations. Any ideas why this should be hidden?

No, this doesn't seem to be it.

After a Net Config Server command, it shows that the server isn't hidden.

We had a new router installed a week ago. It hasn't been visible since then. Would this have had anything to do with it?

One other thing. I can see the server listed from the server itself but not from any of the workstations

Yes, of course. You can't see the server if it's in different subnet. Install a WINS server or acess it by \\servername\sharename on the command prompt. Read this thread96-684512
