Just finished installing Windows 2K Advanced Server on two Compaq ML530 servers in a Windows NT 4 domain. Both servers have two network adapters installed. I am able to ping all four of the nic's with no problem from both servers, I can search for both servers by compute name and see them but am unable to see them in My Network Places. Kind of stumped, anybody got any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Are they part of the domain or is it set up as workgroup?
If in Domain, do you see the domain? See other computers in the domain? Completely rebooted right?

If set up as workgroup, see workgroup in Network places?

NOnoy is right about joining the domains. If they are, are they logging onto the domain, or local pc? Check the options when you logon and make sure the domain name shows up. You have different accounts when you log onto the different sites because your getting different authentication. Glen A. Johnson
